The Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) softball nipped the host Foster Falcons (Richmond, TX), 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats (11-4) will now prepare for their bout against Fulshear (Fulshear, TX). The Chargers go into the non-league bout with a 12-6 record. In their last bout, Fulshear was edged by St. Agnes Academy (Houston, TX), 6-3, in a non-league bout.
