March 3, 2025: Houma, LA 70364 The Covenant Christian Academy Lions baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Kaplan Pirates to 0 in the Lions non-league win on Monday.
The Lions now own a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they host E.D. White for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 5. Covenant Christian Academy will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-10.
With the defeat, Kaplan drops to 7-5 on the year. The Pirates host Kinder (Kinder, LA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a record of 8-4. Kinder won 8-6 in their recent non-league test against Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA)
