North Carolina High School Baseball - Triton edges Midway

March 3, 2025: Erwin, NC 28339

The Triton Hawks baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Midway Raiders to 5 in the Hawks non-league win on Monday.

The Hawks now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Overhills for a All American 3A/4A test on Tuesday, March 4. Triton will play a Jaguars team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Midway drops to 1-2 on the year. The Raiders travel to West Johnston (Benson, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 5. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 4-0. West Johnston won 9-7 in their recent non-league test against Clayton (Clayton, NC)
