Alabama High School Softball - Wilson nudges Lauderdale County
March 4, 2024: Florence, AL 35634 Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lauderdale County Tigers (Rogersville, AL), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterloo for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 5. Wilson will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Lauderdale County falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 8-0. Deshler won 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Cherokee (Cherokee, AL)
