Alabama High School Softball - Wilson bounces Lexington
March 18, 2024: Florence, AL 35634 Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they observed their softball team defeat the visiting Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL), 14-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Wilson moves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Warriors travel to Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a 4A Area 16 game on Tuesday, March 19. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 10-6. Deshler lost 11-0 in their recent non-league game against Hamilton (Hamilton, AL)
In their next game, the Golden Bears clash with the Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL) in a 2A Area 16 game, on Thursday, March 21. Lexington will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 0-10 record after their 18-7 non-league loss to Shoals Christian (Florence, AL).
