Alabama High School Softball - Rogers bounces Lexington
April 4, 2024: Florence, AL 35634 Rogers Pirates (Florence, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 9-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Skyline for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 5. Rogers will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Decatur (Decatur, AL). The Vikings record now stands at 16-5.
With the loss, Lexington falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Golden bears travel to Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS) to battle the Braves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 19-3. Tishomingo County won 9-0 in their recent league challenge against Amory (Amory, MS)
