In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Carmel Christian Cougars (Matthews, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC), by a tally of 14-2.

Next up, the Cougars encounter the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 6. Carmel Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 13-9 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC).

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.
