Georgia High School Soccer - Lumpkin County toppled by Dawson County
March 4, 2025: Dawsonville, GA 30534 Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA), 8-3 in a league test.
With the triumph, Dawson County moves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to North Hall (Gainesville, GA) to clash with the Trojans in a 3A Region 6 test on Friday, March 7. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 4-1. North Hall lost 6-0 in their recent league test against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA)
The Indians now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Stephens County for a non-league test on Friday, March 7. Lumpkin County will clash with a Indians team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA). The Indians record now stands at 4-2.
