North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Watauga drops to Hickory

In Tuesday's league contest, the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) lacrosse squad routed the host Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC), by a count of 17-4.

Coming up next, the Red Tornadoes confront the North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills contest, on Thursday, March 7. Hickory will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 16-7 league win over Asheville (Asheville, NC).

The Pioneers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Stephens for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills challenge on Thursday, March 7. Watauga will meet a Indians squad coming off a 17-6 league win over Patton (Morganton, NC). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.
