North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Patton drops to Watauga

Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), 10-2 in a league battle.

The Pioneers now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Asheville for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills battle on Tuesday, March 26. Watauga will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-5.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills battle, on Tuesday, March 26. Patton will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 8-7 league loss to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC).
