In Monday's league contest, the Merced Bears (Merced, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Central Valley Hawks (Ceres, CA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Bears battle the El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) in a Central California Conference contest, on Wednesday, March 8. Merced will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Gauchos go into the contest with a 5-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Atwater (Atwater, CA).
