Louisiana High School Softball - Southside can't get by Kaplan
March 6, 2025: Kaplan, LA 70548 Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA), 7-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Kaplan improves its record to 10-0 on the year. The Pirates travel to Notre Dame (Crowley, LA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league game on Saturday, March 8. The Pioneers enter the game with a record of 10-0. Notre Dame won 9-1 in their recent non-league game against St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA)
The Sharks now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Covington for a non-league game on Friday, March 7. Southside will play a Lions squad coming off a 16-6 league win over Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Lions record now stands at 6-1.
