The crowd at Friday's league bout between the MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX) and the host Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX), observed MacArthur's softball team prevail over Jay by a tally of 16-0.

The Brahmas (9-12) will now prepare for their bout against Southside (San Antonio, TX). The Cardinals go into the 5A Region IV District 28 bout with a 8-4 record. In their last bout, Southside was routed by South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX), 12-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Harlandale Indians (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 bout, on Monday, March 9. Jay will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 2-11 record after their 11-1 league loss to Southwest (San Antonio, TX).
