The Southwest Dragons softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting MacArthur Brahmas to 3 in the Dragons league win on Thursday.

The Dragons now sport a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlandale for a 5A Region IV District 28 battle on Thursday, April 9. Southwest will meet a Indians squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to McCollum (San Antonio, TX). The Indians record now stands at 2-18.

The Brahmas (12-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Jay (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region IV District 28 challenge with a 6-14 record. In their last challenge, Jay was routed by South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX), 12-0, in a league challenge.
