Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Southside Cardinals (San Antonio, TX), 8-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Southwest improves its record to 15-3 on the year. The Dragons travel to South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 5A Region IV District 28 game on Tuesday, March 31. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 19-5. South San Antonio won 4-0 in their recent league match against McCollum (San Antonio, TX)
