North Carolina High School Softball - Union bounces Westover

March 6, 2026: Fayetteville, NC 28303

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Union Spartans softball team scored a nice 27-3 victory over the Westover Wolverines.

The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their match against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC). The Vikings go into the Carolina 1A/2A match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, West Columbus was routed by Fairmont (Fairmont, NC), 14-4, in a non-league game.

The Wolverines now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they host South View for a Eastern Sandhills 5A/6A game on Tuesday, March 24.
