The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) and the host Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC), saw South Stanly's baseball team gain a win over Piedmont by a tally of 10-4.

The Rowdy Rebel Bulls (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Central Academy held off North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 14-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 10. Piedmont will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 4-0 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC).
