Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), 9-7 in a league match.

With the triumph, Mount Pleasant advances its record to 9-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC) to battle the Knights in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A match on Tuesday, April 1. The Knights come into the match with a record of 5-8.

The Rowdy Rebel Bulls now have a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Stanly for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A match on Tuesday, April 1. South Stanly will battle a Comets squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Albemarle (Albemarle, NC). The Comets record now stands at 12-0.
