The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots softball squad (Gastonia, NC), was routed 14-7 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC)

With the triumph, Queen's Grant improves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Stallions host Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC) to face the Stallions in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 13. The Stallions enter the contest with a record of 1-3.

The Patriots now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Gaston Christian for a non-league contest on Monday, March 10. Piedmont Community Charter will face a Eagles squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
