Virginia High School Lacrosse - Bishop Ireton overwhelms Benedictine
March 8, 2024: Richmond, VA 23238 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) and the host Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA), saw Bishop Ireton's lacrosse team achieve victory over Benedictine by a margin of 14-9.
The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC). The Lancers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Legion Collegiate Academy was overwhelmed by Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC), 13-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Cadets (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA). The Crusaders enter the Tidewater Independent challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Catholic was overwhelmed by St. James (Hagerstown, MD), 9-6, in a non-league challenge.
