The Clay City Eels basketball team scored 82 points and limited the visiting North Central Thunderbirds to 40 in the Eels non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eels now have a 24-2 record. They play next when they travel to Northeast Dubois for a non-league game on Saturday, March 15. Clay City will confront a Jeeps team coming off a 73-58 non-league win over Wood Memorial (Oakland City, IN). The Jeeps record now stands at 16-9.

With the loss, North Central falls to 10-15 on the campaign.
