The Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) basketball crushed the host Eastern Eagles (Beaver, OH), 68-44 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Seminoles now possess a 24-3 record. They play next when they travel to Marion Local for a non-league bout on Friday, March 14. Monroe Central will play a Flyers team coming off a 58-43 non-league win over Anna (Anna, OH). The Flyers record now stands at 25-2.

With the loss, Eastern falls to 23-4 on the campaign.
