Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) and the visiting Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ), observed Mountain Ridge's volleyball team top Liberty by a count of 2-0.

The Mountain Lions (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton (Chandler, AZ). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Hamilton was knocked off by Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Lions battle the Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 8. Liberty will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Pumas enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ).
