The Watauga Pioneers lacrosse team (Boone, NC), was nudged 8-6 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Cary Imps (Cary, NC)

With the victory, Cary advances its record to 1-4 on the season. The Imps host Panther Creek (Cary, NC) to encounter the Catamounts in a Southwest Wake battle on Monday, March 10. The Catamounts come into the battle with a record of 0-2. Panther Creek lost 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against South Garner (Garner, NC)

The Pioneers now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Stephens for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills battle on Tuesday, March 11. Watauga will encounter a Indians team coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Indians record now stands at 3-1.
