North Carolina High School Softball - Chase nudges Stuart Cramer
Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Stuart Cramer (Belmont, NC), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Draughn for a 2A/3A South Mountain Athletic challenge on Tuesday, March 10. Chase will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 12-2 league loss to Rutherfordton-Spindale Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
In their next game, the clash with the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 12. Stuart Cramer will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
