March 9, 2023: Merritt Island, FL 32953 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) and the visiting Satellite Scorpions (Satellite Beach, FL), saw Merritt Island's softball squad achieve victory over Satellite by a count of 18-3.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Titusville for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 22.
With the loss, Satellite falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to Eau Gallie (Melbourne, FL) to face the Commodores in a match on Wednesday, March 22.
