In Friday's non-league game, the host Basha Bears baseball team scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Westwood Warriors.

The Bears (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ). The Thunder go into the non-league game with a 9-1 record. In their last game, Desert Vista Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ), 7-7, in a non-league contest.
