In Friday's non-league outing, the Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA) basketball squad nipped the host South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA), by a margin of 47-45.

The Ramblers (22-3) will now prepare for their outing against Mars (Mars, PA). The Fightin' Planets go into the non-league outing with a 17-10 record. In their last outing, Mars got by Manheim Central (Manheim, PA), 61-49, in a non-league outing.
