The North Stanly Comets soccer team (New London, NC), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Tuesday's non-league match with the visiting Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC)

With the triumph, Anson moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to meet the Cougars in a Rocky River 2A/3A match on Thursday, March 13.
