March 11, 2025: Magna, UT 84044 The Cyprus Pirates (Magna, UT) soccer nipped the visiting Springville Red Devils (Springville, UT), 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Pirates now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Mountain View for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 14. Cyprus will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Maeser Prep Academy (Lindon, UT). The Bruins record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Springville moves to 1-2 on the year. The Red devils travel to Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT) to encounter the Golden Eagles in a 5A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, March 13. The Golden Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Maple Mountain lost 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Timpanogos (Orem, UT)
