In Tuesday's league match, the host Hough Huskies softball team scored a nice 16-0 victory over the North Mecklenburg Vikings.

The Huskies (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Weddington gained a win over Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC), 6-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Harding University Rams (Charlotte, NC) in a Queen City 3A/4A match, on Thursday, March 13. North Mecklenburg will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Rams go into the match with a 0-1 record after their 17-0 league loss to Hopewell (Huntersville, NC).
