The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) and the host North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC), observed Hough's softball team notch a victory over North Mecklenburg by a final score of 19-2.

The Huskies (13-2) will now prepare for their bout against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 8-6 record. In their last bout, Myers Park was routed by Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC), 5-1, in a non-league bout.
