New Mexico High School Softball - Sandia loses to Rio Rancho
March 12, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87110 The Rio Rancho Rams softball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Sandia Matadors to 1 in the Rams non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Rio Rancho moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Rams host Gallup (Gallup, NM) to clash with the Bengals in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 13. The Bengals come into the game with a record of 1-1. Gallup lost 14-3 in their recent non-league game against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM)
In their next game, the Matadors clash with the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 16. Sandia will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM).
