The South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC), 14-7 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Sabres travel to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Mustangs in a Southwestern/So Meck outing on Thursday, March 16. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 3-3. Myers Park lost 13-12 in their recent non-league outing against Weddington (Matthews, NC)

With the defeat, Sun Valley drops to 1-3 on the season. The Spartans host South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 15. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 0-1. South Iredell lost 20-0 in their recent non-league outing against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC)
