In Thursday's non-league game, the host Central Academy Cougars baseball team scored a nice 13-2 win over the Lee Park Prep Knights .

The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Sun Valley knocked off Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
