The Union County Fightin' Tigers baseball squad (Lake Butler, FL), was overwhelmed 11-7 in Thursday's league contest with the host Lafayette Hornets (Mayo, FL)

With the triumph, Lafayette moves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Hamilton County (Jasper, FL) to confront the Trojans in a non-league contest on Monday, March 17. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 2-9. Hamilton County lost 11-5 in their recent non-league contest against Bell (Bell, FL)

The Fightin' Tigers now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Baldwin for a non-league contest on Friday, March 14. Union County will confront a Indians squad coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Oakleaf (Orange Park, FL). The Indians record now stands at 7-7.
