Florida High School Baseball - Union County loses to Lafayette
April 8, 2025: Lake Butler, FL 32054 Lafayette Hornets (Mayo, FL) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL), 11-1 in a league match.
With the triumph, Lafayette advances its record to 17-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Trenton (Trenton, FL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league match on Thursday, April 10. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 18-3. Trenton won 9-1 in their recent non-league match against Fort White (Fort White, FL)
The Fightin' Tigers now have a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Villages Charter for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 9. Union County will battle a Buffalo squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lecanto (Lecanto, FL). The Buffalo record now stands at 18-5.
