California High School Volleyball - Mt. Pleasant tips Gilroy

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Mt. Pleasant Cardinals volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Gilroy Mustangs.

The Cardinals (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against San Jose (San Jose, CA). The Bulldogs come into the BVAL - West Valley challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, San Jose was nudged by Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs play the Overfelt Royals (San Jose, CA) in a BVAL - West Valley challenge, on Tuesday, March 18. Gilroy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA).
