Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA) and the host Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA), observed Gilroy's volleyball team top Lincoln by a tally of 3-1.

The Mustangs (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Christopher (Gilroy, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Christopher beat Palma (Salinas, CA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Lions meet the Gunderson Grizzlies (San Jose, CA) in a BVAL - West Valley contest, on Tuesday, April 1. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Grizzlies enter the contest with a 3-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA).
