The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Meigs County Tigers (Decatur, TN) and the host Sequoyah Chiefs (Madisonville, TN), saw Meigs County's baseball team gain a win over Sequoyah by a tally of 15-3.

The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TN). The Wildcats enter the 2A District 3 battle with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Sweetwater beat Stone Memorial (Crossville, TN), 13-7, in a non-league contest.
