Tennessee High School Baseball - Polk County loses to Sequoyah

Sequoyah Chiefs (Madisonville, TN) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Polk County Wildcats (Benton, TN), 14-2 in a non-league test.

The Chiefs now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meigs County for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 12. Sequoyah will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.

The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TN). The Wildcats go into the 2A District 3 test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Sweetwater was overwhelmed by Roane County (Kingston, TN), 4-0, in a league test.
