William Leeper Drives in Six to Canutillo Eagles Victory over Chapin
Will Leeper was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond Tuesday, driving in six on two hits to lead Canutillo past Chapin 12-2 on Tuesday. Leeper drove in runs on a triple in the third and a triple in the 4th. Canutillo put up 5 runs in the 4th. Canutillo's big inning was driven by a triple by Leeper, a single by A Sanchez and a sac fly by Enrique Guerra. Justin Nicks led the Eagles to victory on the mound. Nicks went 4 innings, allowing two runs on two hits, stiking out seven and walking one. David Peru threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. #2 led things off on the hill for Chapin.
