March 14, 2025: Las Cruces, NM 88007 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) and the host Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM), saw Rio Rancho's baseball team gain a win over Mayfield by a tally of 24-6.
The Rams (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Storm enter the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Cleveland prevailed over Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Trojans face the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Mayfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM).
