Georgia High School Baseball - Metter wallops McIntosh County Academy
March 14, 2025: Metter, GA 30439 The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Metter Tigers (Metter, GA) and the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), saw Metter's baseball team gain a win over McIntosh County Academy by a tally of 16-1.
The Tigers (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Screven County (Sylvania, GA). The Gamecocks enter the A D2 Region 3 battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Screven County prevailed over Portal (Portal, GA), 7-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Buccaneers face the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 battle, on Tuesday, March 18. McIntosh County Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 9-4 record after their 15-0 league win over Jenkins County (Millen, GA).
