In Thursday's league bout, the Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Metter Tigers (Metter, GA), by a tally of 13-5.

Next up, the Gamecocks encounter the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Screven County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 13-4 record after their 5-4 league win over McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA).
