The Millennium Tigers (Goodyear, AZ) volleyball held off the host Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ), 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Salpointe Catholic for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 15. Millennium will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to ALA - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ). The Lancers record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Desert Vista drops to 3-11 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ) to clash with the Skyhawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 15. The Skyhawks come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Deer Valley won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Crismon (Queen Creek, AZ)
