March 14, 2025: West Monroe, LA 71292 The West Ouachita Chiefs softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Claiborne Christian Crusaders to 0 in the Chiefs non-league win on Friday.
The Chiefs now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tioga for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 18. West Ouachita will confront a Indians team coming off a 17-0 non-league win over St. Joseph's - Plaucheville (Plaucheville, LA). The Indians record now stands at 12-4.
With the loss, Claiborne Christian moves to 3-6 on the season. The Crusaders host Downsville (Downsville, LA) to confront the Demons in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 18.
