The Riverdale Cowboys baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Caruthers Blue Raiders to 7 in the Cowboys non-league win on Saturday.

The Cowboys now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Fowler for a Northwest Sequoia test on Tuesday, March 17. Riverdale will battle a Redcats squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Golden West (Visalia, CA). The Redcats record now stands at 0-7.

The Blue Raiders (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Washington Union (Fresno, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Washington Union was nudged by Selma (Selma, CA), 7-1, in a non-league outing.
