The Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA), 17-2 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Barons travel to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 16. The Raiders go into the outing with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, New Covenant drops to 0-1 on the season. The Gryphons travel to North Cross (Roanoke, VA) to battle the Raiders in a VISAA Division 2 outing on Tuesday, March 19.
