Louisiana High School Softball - Calvin nudges Hicks
March 15, 2024: Leesville, LA 71446 Calvin Cougars (Calvin, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they host Avoyelles for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. Calvin will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Hicks falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA) to battle the Storm in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. The Storm enter the challenge with a record of 4-12. Delta Charter won 18-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Georgetown (Georgetown, LA)
